In a bizarre incident on West 130th Street, a pit bull broke free from a yard and attacked a woman and her labradoodle. The woman was walking her dog when the pit bull suddenly charged out of an unlocked gate. The pit bull's owner rushed to the scene, pulling her dog away from the victims.

The yard where the pit bull escaped was known as a "sniff spot," where dog owners could pay to let their dogs run loose. The owner of the pit bull admitted to forgetting to close the gate after taking her dog to the sniff spot. The incident was referred to the city's animal control officer.

Meanwhile, on Michael Drive, a 19-year-old Parma man was cited for riding a motorcycle without a license. The motorcycle was pulled over because it had no license plate and wasn't registered. The rider also didn't have a motorcycle endorsement on his license.

In another incident, a registration sticker was stolen from a Mazda's license plate outside the Best Western Airport Inn & Suites on Snow Road. The thief damaged the license plate while removing the sticker.

A worker at Penske on Diana Drive reported a 2022 GMC Savana truck missing after a Cleveland woman, 61, rented it but never returned it. Police left a voicemail for the woman, trying to get in touch with her.

On West 130th Street, a 31-year-old Middleburg Heights man was found unconscious outside a business. He had a used syringe in his pocket and a brown sticky substance in his pants pocket. Paramedics took him to a local hospital after police shook him awake.
