King’s Sports Order: Fixing the Game, One Rule at a Time
BOSTON USA,Friday, January 31, 2025
How about the rules in football?
That ball can fly a long ways. In the original paper the guys says that big hits by the defense will cause some penalties. Think about that one.
The King thinks that the “Tush Push” – an aggressive move in basketball – is just a no-no.
And what about the poor guys who never seem to get their props. The monarch wants to stir the pot a bit:
Luis Tiant, a legendary pitcher from the Red Sox, has been overlooked for way too long. The king wants him in the Hall of Fame. Wait, there's more! He believes that Shoeless Joe Jackson, Pete Rose, Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and Manny Ramirez deserve to be in the Hall too.
I get it, ESPN was big on their steroid views – but so many others in the sport have needed a bigger spotlight and this group blew right past it. The man really wants to make some changes. "Hey! They should all be in the Hall of Fame! "
It’s clear that the King likes the 70s. What about Josh Altuve and Carlos Beltran who were involved in the Houston Astros sign-stealing scandal? Just let it slide, the King declares more pardons and scalps onto his throne.
Enough about baseball. How about some high school and college sports too. The King says he would make sure all sports facilities and equipment for boys and girls are the same. Team sports in college is to have equal facilities is a great thing, no more arguments there.
He wants to make things better at all levels of sports too. The King’s got a lot of power but let me tell you, even he says that some things just can’t be fixed. Big-time college sports, for example. He thinks it’s way past repair. Yeah college sports have some ugly rules on the books.
You know what? He’s right. The score, the excitement, the impact might be changed by any new rules.
So, would this be a great day in sports? A world full of winning?
Even more importantly, does this all sound like a fairy tale? Yeah, if you want something wild,
