The votes are in and the winners of the spring sports awards have been announced. Local high school athletes took center stage as Cincinnati.com readers cast their ballots for the top athletes and teams of the year.

The spring sports season was packed with exciting moments, from thrilling baseball games to impressive track and field events. Readers had the chance to weigh in on their favorite athletes and teams, choosing from a list of standout performers who had already been recognized as Athletes of the Week or High School Sports Awards winners.

In the world of baseball, Anderson's big-school team took home the top honor, while Norwood and Conner claimed the small-school and NKY/IND titles, respectively. On the softball side, Seton and Georgetown emerged as the top teams in their respective categories.

Individual athletes also shone brightly. Grant Fyffe from Anderson was named the top baseball player in the big-school category, while Branson Kennard from Goshen took the small-school title. In lacrosse, R.J. Naticchioni from Mariemont and Kennedy Steuer from McNicholas stood out as the top players in their respective categories.

The track and field events saw some incredible performances, with Collin Bertram from Georgetown and Natalie Niese from Loveland taking home the top honors in their respective categories. The Walton-Verona 4x200 meter relay team also impressed, earning the top spot in their category.

Other notable winners included the Dixie Heights 4x400 meter relay team, which took home the top honor in the boys spring team category, and Addy Vaughan from Mount Notre Dame, who was named the top player in flag football.
